De Benrinnes Distillery bestaat sinds 1826. Door een overstroming (1829) en een verwoestende brand (1896) is er van de oorspronkelijke gebouwen uit de vroege periode niets meer over. Benrinnes maakt een wat zwaarder, meaty profiel. Dit wordt bereikt door de stills flink op te stoken (minder kopercontact) en het gebruik van wormtubs. De huidige eigenaar is Diageo.
