De Tomatin distillery is opgericht in 1897 vlakbij Inverness, daarmee is het een highland whisky (al is de Speyside niet ver). In de ’70s produceerden de 23 stills van Tomatin gezamenlijk 12 miljoen liter alcohol per jaar. In 2002 werden 11 stills ontmanteld, tegenwoordig wordt ongeveer 2 miljoen liter alochol per jaar gestookt. Bij de distillery zijn 15 warehouses waar de maltwhisky van Tomatin ligt te rijpen.

  • Tomatin 2006 #722 cask #722 is een bourbon barrel, distilled at 06-02-2006 met 185 liter op 55.2% ABV, en is opgesplitst in 22 delen
    status: aan het rijpen, estimated to be bottled ~ 2024
