The CSV data file and the supplementary casQ_export_reader files have been created for your convenience and can be downloaded as a personal file from casQ shop » Accounts » Orders (download). It simplifies the effort of keeping track of your shares with casQueteers.com and your fellow casQueteers.
We’ve and are paying close attention to detail to what data we deliver to you. That said, we do have some terms for the usage of it (or call them disclaimers if you will):
- The casQ_export_reader comes as-is. Issues can be reported and will be looked into but make sure you always use the latest version before reporting any issue.
- We don’t support individual users getting the casQ_export_reader to work, especially the macro version on Mac. So make sure you:
- are not running the file in Protective View (you probably have to move it outside your Downloads folder),
- have Enabled Editing,
- have allowed macros to run.
- We have done our best to make the casQ_export_reader compatible with Excel 2010 and newer on both Windows and Mac. That said, we recommend Excel 2016 and newer. For Mac we can’t get the macros to work without issues, so we also provide a version without macros which can be used on both platforms without issues.
- Changing names of our default worksheets will break the built-in automation. Changing content on any of our default worksheets, including the dashboard in the macros enabled version, will most likely break the built-in automation.
- Any additions you make to the casQ_export_reader will have to be copied over to newer versions by yourself in due time, so it’s best to place them on your own worksheet(s). When you have created an awesome extension of e.g. the dashboard, feel free to share it with us so it might be included in the template (saving you some copying efforts later on).
- The order information is based on your actual orders in the casQ shop, details like Date, Order, Status, SKU, Description, Qty, and Payment 1 should be 100% accurate although discrepancies can occure due to undetected changes in the database structure of WooCommerce, it’s API, or due to the ongoing implementation of HPOS.
- The scripts to calculate the consolidated details like Payment 2, P2 E/A, Yield, Y E/A, Bottle Price, BP E/A, B E/A, Age, and Age Type have been checked extensively but please let us know when you believe we are miscalculating something.
- The product attributes are quite a bit of work to maintain. We don’t mind doing it at all, but it can happen that we have temporarily misaligned information or that we haven’t come to adding / updating them yet. Anyway, we do our best to keep it all as accurate as possible in the most timely fashion possible. Bare in mind that for some details, we also depend on third parties to provide updates.
- When a product has been added, you might see incorrect product attributes during the first couple of hours / days. This can occure when the product was cloned from an older product but not yet been dealt with on the product attributes level. We’ll get to this as soon as possible. The same applies for missing project-casks, we’ll add them as soon as possible.
- Others can tag / mention your username when purchasing a product (cask shares, etc) in the casQ shop. Only when you are tagged / mentioned then you’ll see these products on the casQ mentions worksheet. From a casQueteers’ administration and technical point of view this means that:
- only the person who actually purchased the product (cask share, etc) in the casQ shop is consider as the 100% owner of the product,
- only that person will be contacted regarding cask specific updates (e.g. the final payment and distribution),
- only that person can purchase cask samples within the first week when they become available.
- In case of disputes, the offline adminstration we keep as backup in combination with the online casQ shop data will be leading. So this document doesn’t provide you with any (additional) rights so to say.
Last but not least, we have excluded all personal data from the overview, except for 2 elements:
