Casks get typically tasted for the first time after 5 years. After that, the outcome of the cask sample tasting will influence the frequency.
New casks in our portfolio which already have quite some years of maturation on the clock are normally tasted sooner than the 5 years mentioned above.
Periodically, a new list of casks for the next tasting round(s) is being published on the casQ forum. Please note that the list can fluctuate as requesting a cask sample is something different then getting it in a timely fashion as well as casks might be in a hard to reach location in the warehouse or that the warehouse is occupied with other activities.
When a tasting session gets shape – then the upcoming tasting session number will also be added to the cask information which is also visible in your personal CSV file (in the Tasting Session(s) column) which you can download from your casQ shop account.
