A cask can still take years of maturation before it gets bottled. In the meantime a lot can happen in a person’s life. Because of that – we kindly ask you to provide at least one contact who we can contact in case of an emergency.
When do we contact emergency contacts?
The emergency contact(s) will only be contacted when we are unable to get hold of you over a longer period of time, e.g. when reaching out to you as a result of a bottle moment. The other way around – it also helps us to understand who could reach out to us in cases like illness or the (hopefully unlikely) event that you pass away prior to your cask participation(s) being bottled.
In both scenarios it’s valuable to have the right emergency contact(s) details. So keep your own contact details, as well as those of your emergency contact(s), as actual as possible. Our advice is to review and, if needed, to update all your own and emergency contact details once a year.
How to set / update your emergency contacts?
Setting your emergency contact(s) can be done via your casQ shop account. Just go to the Emergency Contacts page, fill out the fields, and hit the Save changes button.
Only the (full) name and email address of the primary contact are mandatory. All other fields, and the secondary contact, are optional but the more complete the details are, the easier it is for us to be able to contact your emergency contact(s).
